Obituary of Laura Isaacs

It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Isaacs of Burin announces her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the age of 59 years. Leaving to mourn spouse Thomas Whalen; sons Corey Isaacs of Alberta, Darren (Rhonda Walters) of Burin, Brad (Jennifer Smith) of Burin; Father of sons Harold Isaacs (Patricia) ; mother-in-law Ruby Isaacs; grandchildren Christoper Mallay and Heidi Peddle; sisters Cheryl (Peter Rubingh), Yvette (Virgus Fulford), Rhonda (Tracey Kelly), Lisa (Renald Courcelles), Eleanor Coady; brothers Wayne (Cindy) Kelly, Sean (Leslie-Ann) Kelly, Randy Kelly; special aunt Marion Kelly; brothers-in-law Jack (Eleanor) Whalen, Wayne (Hilda) Isaacs, Jim (Priscilla) Isaacs, Boyd (Faye) Isaacs; sisters-in-law Madeline (Melvin Kirby), Wilma (Heberling Moulton) and plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Joe and Olivera Kelly; brother-in- law Walter Whalen ; father-in-law Harold Isaacs; nephews Harold Isaacs and Jason Brockerville; sister-in-law Olive Harding. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Saturday 7-9 p.m. for family only, Sunday 10 a.m. - 9p.m. for public visitation Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. In keeping with Laura's wishes cremation will follow with interment to take place at a later date.
