Obituary of Madge Irene Evans

It is with great sadness that the family of Madge Evans of Burin announces her passing at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, ON on February 12, 2018 at the age of 75 years.

Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories daughters Winnie Barnes (Brian) of Lindsay, ON, Michelle Humphries (Jeff) of Laurenceton, NL, Merlynn Mullen (Craig) of Oakwood,ON;grandchildren Jordan (Robyn), Nolan, Abigail, Grace, Emily & Kaylee; sisters Mabel Francis(Gord) and Joy Mitchell(Albert) plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Predeceased by parents William & Winnifred Hodder, husband Merrill Evans, sisters Myrtle Schurman and Shirley Nichols.

Family will be receiving friends at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 10AM-9PM.

Funeral service will take place from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Port Aux Bras on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 2PM.

In keeping with Madge wishes cremation will follow with inurnment following at a later date.
