Anne was a beautiful lady who touched the lives of all those that she met. While I personally was not close with Anne, my family was. If she touched the lives of others the way she touched the lives of the Coombs' I can only imagine the beautiful impact she had on the world. Sending my sincerest condolences to all of Anne's family and friends.

Sending thoughts and prayers to Anne's family, I had the privilege of knowing Anne since she thought my daughter in primary school, and for the last number of years volunteering with her at the Social Center. I was the youngest there but Anne used to tell me to have a rest and want to take over after her being there all day. She was so kind hearted and you didn't have the heart to say no when she asked you to take orders or sell tickets. She put so much into her church and is going to be well missed , Rest with the angels ,you deserve it.

So very sad to hear about Ms. Grant's passing. She was my kindergarten teacher and she was the best. Always had a beautiful smile and even in the last few years when I would meet her, she would always smile, stop for a quick chat and wish me well. God will certainly welcome her into His Home. God Bless her.

Anne, a very kind, caring, and compassionate lady. I had the pleasure of working with Anne on 2 different committees 1995 -1997. She put her all into everything she set out to do with a very rewarding end result for the cause. To my dear friend Anne, May you rest In eternal peace amongst your own, the angels.

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Anne's family and friends. Twenty four years ago Anne welcomed me into her classroom. First she had to make sure it was ok with her students. I learned so much from her in the 3 months of my internship, watching and teaching with her. The compassion and love she had for her students and teaching is how I have tried to model my teaching career. I love all my visits to Burin and especially the ones where I got to see and visit with Anne. She loved hearing of my teaching experiences. This world and I have been blessed with knowing and loving Anne. I know you are an angel with so many special angels now. Love and remember you forever. Patricia.

Anne was a teacher all her life. Her life was an example of how to live, always doing the most good for the folk that was fortunate enough to be on her radar. In death she showed me how it can be accomplished with dignity and self control. I do not know if she is a saint but certainly should be considered as one. To her family, my sincere condolences.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ms. Grant's passing. She was one of my favorite teachers 30 years ago. The last time I saw Ms. Grant I was on my way to becoming a teacher. I admired Ms. Grant and asked for some teaching advice. Her words to me were "treat all the children as equals". I never forgot those words. Her warm smile and gentle nature will be forever remembered by those whose heart she touched. Heaven has received a special angel.
