It is with great sadness the family of Myrena Mayo announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on February 19 at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at at age of 79 years.
Leaving to mourn son Ray (Beatrice mother of his children), daughter Jean (Wallace) of Creston; grandchildren Elaine (Junior), Paul (Karen), Tori and Tanner; great grandchildren Joshua, Cody, Paula, Jake, Ben and Noah; sisters Stella Farwell, Maisie Moulton and Mamie Sainsbury plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Harold, sisters Madge, Betty and Ada; brothers Eli, Sam and Frank.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday and Friday from 10AM - 9PM.
Funeral Service to take place from Faith and Hope Corps, Creston Saturday at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cancer Society or Faith and Hope Corps Cemetery Fund.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
