It is with great sadness the family of Rita Taylor of Port au Bras announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on February 13 at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn sons Bill (Patsy) of Mortier, Ern (Rosalind) of Burin, Jack (Jen) of Black Duck Cove, Dave (Daphne) of Port au Bras, Wayne (Angela) of Lewin's Cove and Hughie (Joanne) of Brooks, AB; daughters Sylvia Keating of Burin, Florence Dodge (Tom) of Ontario, Phyllis Inkpen (Morley) of Lewin's Cove and Elaine Brushett (Josh) of Port au Bras and Trudy Goodyear of Corner Brook; 34 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters Blanche Myles and Becky Inkpen; brother Samuel Green plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by husband Charles and daughter Blanche.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 9PM and Sunday from 1-9PM.
Funeral Service to take place from St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Port au Bras with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Port au Bras Monday, February 17th at 11AM.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery or flowers gratefully accepted.
