Aunt Doris was so very special to me. I can't imagine her not being here. I will always cherish the memories and the crocheted and knitted treasures that she has sent me over the years. Such a wonderful spirit, I will miss her deeply. My sincere condolences go out to the family and especially Leo and Joyce, Sterling and Janice. She was so lucky to have such caring family and friends in her life.

i will miss going from school on my lunch break just to have a yarn and lunch with you,. you were a very caring and loving person. i remember all the laughs we used to have together while we sat and knitted together when i would stay with you on a few weekends awhile ago. i remember especially the time you had the potatoes and meat cooked for me and you and it ended up to be not the type of meat we liked and we threw it all away. we always had a great laugh about that. rip. you will be missed but you are with dad and uncle leslie and pop reid now having a great old yarn up there for sure. love you always madonna

My thoughts and sympathy are with all the family at this sad time. She was a remarkable lady. I will always remember her from when I was a small child. I would visit her house many times in one day and she always welcomed you, she had a lot of patience with us coming in and out all day. She will always have a special place in my heart. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
