Passed peacefully into eternal rest after a well loved life, George F. Pike of Burin Bay Arm, age 94 years.
Leaving to mourn and cherish his memory Alma, his beloved wife of 73 years; 6 sons Harvey (Mary), George Reynolds (Wendy), Glen (Noreen), Roy (Ruth), Clyde and Allan (Rebecca); 3 daughters Marilyn (Jim), Lorraine (Bernie) and Yvonne (Al); brother Captain Reynolds; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and a large circle of other family members and friends and staff at Blue Crest Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his parents John and Jane; sisters Greta, Annie and Della Greta and brothers Herbie, Douglas and Charles.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home Monday and Tuesday 10 -12, 2-4 and 7 - 9.
Funeral Service to take place from Bethany United Church, Wednesday, January 22 at 2PM with interment following at Bethany United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Bethany United Church.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
