It is with great sadness the family of Gertrude King of Boat Harbour announces her passing at the Health Science Center on November 15th at the age of 80 years.
Leaving to mourn son Dennis (Melanie) of Paradise; daughters Sheila (Gary) of NS, Sharon (Len) of Boat Harbour, Davena (Eddie) of Brookside and Pam (Kevin) of Paradise; grandchildren Kerri-lynn (Terry), Heather (Sheldon), Michael (Robyn), Shane (Kayla) and Adam; great grandchildren Abigail and Gavin plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Albert; grandson Corey Lockyer and sisters Alma Mundon and Lorretta Smith.
Resting at Church of Transfiguration, Boat Harbour Sunday, November 17th at 7PM and all day Monday.
Funeral Service to take place from Church of Transfiguration, Boat Harbour Tuesday, November 19th at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery, Boat Harbour.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Church of Transfiguration Memorial Fund, Boat Harbour or Alzheimer's Society .
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin
