It is with great sadness the family of James Grant of Lewin's Cove formerly of Corbin announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on November 13th at the age of 87 years.
Leaving to mourn wife Rita; sons Bill (Ellen) of Lewin's Cove and John (Laurie-ann) of Brooks, AB; daughters Kathy Dwyer (Paul) of Kelligrews, Dolores Molloy(Jerome) of Marystown, Sharon Kelly (Matthew) of Beaus Bois and Clara Moulton (Brian) of Calgary; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters Ann Grant, Mary Stapleton, Violet Clarke, Kathleen Neville, Bride Rose and Theresa Fagan and sister-in-law Marie Grant plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Bernard and Elizabeth, brother Bob and sisters Nellie, Laura and Meline.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday, November 14th from 7 to 9PM and Friday from 10AM to 9PM.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church on Saturday, November 16th at 10AM with interment following at RC Cemetery, Salt Pond.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Patrick's RC Church.
