Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on May 1st Bert Marshall of Winterland age 83 years.
Leaving to mourn wife Emily; son Derrick (Edith) of Burin; daughters Yvonne Clarke of St. John's, Elaine Whales (Stephen) of England and Mona (Chris Kenway) of Winterland; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Millie Brushett (George) of Marystown and Belle Moulton (Don) of Winterland plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, Thursday 10AM -9PM.
Funeral service to take place from Grace United Church, Winterland at 2PM on Friday, May 4th with interment to follow at United Cemetery, Winterland.
Donations may made in his memory to Grace United Church, Winterland or flowers gratefully accepted.
