Mrs. Turpin,
I want to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather.
You may not remember me by name but I am a pastoral care worker at the Health Science Centre and I visited you and your husband in the hospital to give communion over the past two weeks. The latest was on Ash Wednesday. I want you to know that you and Donald have been in my prayers daily since I first met you.
I see by the newspaper and the radio report that your husband was well known in the sports world. I found him such a gentle man and it was always a pleasure for me to visit you both in hospital. It is unfortunate that we couldn't have met under better circumstances.
I will continue to pray for you and your family.
God Bless you

Susan and Family.
We were saddened to hear of Don's passing. He was a fine man who gave much not only to his family but to many.
He will be remembered by me as a mentor. He was so supportive when I chose a career in broadcasting. One of my fondest memories was doing play by play with him of the soccer final in the mid sixties. We chose him as our master of ceremonies at our wedding.
He made his mark and passed away a much loved and respected man. Who could ask for more.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.
