Dear Sharon, Todd, Tracey, Brad and families.
Howie and I want to extend sincere condolences on Russ's passing.
We have many fond memories of Russ in the PMQs and his boat in the basement. How he built a fence between the Q's so our Chris just a toddler could share both of our yards to play.
We remember how they entrusted their baby Brad to us while they went to Lewis's Cove for his mother's funeral.
Last of all, after many years of postings and on visiting home this time we went to Lewis's Cove. Russ and Sharon treated us like Royalty and drove us around the boot. We laughed, joked and just enjoyed each other's company as if we had never moved from Connaught Drive. Truly our dearest friends.

It is with a very heavy heart that I must say goodbye to Uncle Russ. Although we didn't see each other often, he always lit up and opened his arms up wide for me every time we did. The love he showed for me was undeniable and I loved him back just as much. My fondest memory of Uncle Russ was when he dropped everything to rush to my aid to change the locks on my front door. Knowing someone is always there for you no matter the occasion is beyond what words can describe. My deepest condolences to Brad, Tracey, Doris and Todd as they say goodbye to their Dad and to my Aunt Boo, all my love and kisses from across the pond. Uncle Russ is without pain now and that is something, may he forever rest in the arms of Jesus and prayers for comfort for you all.
