Obituary of Austin Anthony Lambe

It is with great sadness that the family of Austin Lambe of Burin announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on January 6, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Leaving to mourn girlfriend Rose Martin; daughters Charlene Lambe of Burin; son Joe of Edmonton; stepchildren Brian Martin and Jenny Taylor; grandchildren Stacey and Cassey; step grandson Josh Taylor; great grandchild Joel Wisemen; sisters Dorothy Antle (Brian), Josephine Lambe, Bernice Edwards (Emanuel), Noella Fitzpatrick (Ralph), Diane Lambe (Morgan), Cathy Hanrahan (Adrian), Hilda Stacey (Melvin) and Geraldine Rogers (Calvin); brothers Mike, Melvin and John plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by parents Austin and Catherine Lambe; sister Alberta and brothers Joe and Kevin. Family will be accepting visitors from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Sunday 10am to 6pm for the public and then from 6-9pm family only. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church, Burin on Monday, January 9th at 10:30am. In keeping with Austin's wishes cremation will follow.
