Obituary of Charles (Charlie) Bolt
It is with sadness that the family of the late Charles (Charlie) Bolt of Burin annouces his passing at Blue Crest Hospital, Grand Bank at the age of 98 years. Formerly of Tack's Beach and Harbour Buffett.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories one son Baxter of Burin; two daughters Ruby (Alvin) Hodder of Mount Pearl and Elizabeth Gill of St. John's; good friend Clotilda Wareham of Burin; son-in-law Robert Gill of Kelligrews; daughter-in-law Debra Bolt of Gaspe, Quebec; 8 grandchildren Andre, Nicole, Pamela, Maegan, Kimberly, Arlene, Bettina and Darcy; 8 great grandchildren; brother Clarence Bolt of Arnold's Cove; sister Molly Snow of Halifax also, a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by wife Alice and son Gordon.
Family will be accepting vistors from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin on Thursday from 7-9PM, Friday from 10AM -12PM, 2-4PM, 7-8:30PM.
Funeral Service will held at Serenity Chapel, Burin on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2PM with interment following at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Hodder's Point.
No Flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to Burin or Marystown Food Bank.
