Obituary of Marie Cleal
It is with great sadness the family of Marie Cleal of Lewin's Cove announces her passing at the US Memorial Hospital, St. Lawrence Wednesday, February 20th at the age of 80 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Debra Cleal -Udell (David) of Burin Bay, John Cleal (Jessie) of Lewin's Cove, Darlene Mayo (Terry) of Creston South, Pauline Cleal (Derek Wilson) of Winnigeg and Goldie Baird (Raymond) of Lewin's Cove; grandchildren John, Mandy, June, John Ray, Jordan, Nathan and Quinn; great grandchildren Maddox, Jay and Rylan; sisters Jennie Sabourin (Bob) of Ottawa and Goldie Healey (Jack-deceased) of God's Lake Narrows, MB; brother Sherman Harfitt (Jean) of Lewin's Cove, brothers-in-law Hector (Mabel) and Jim (Millicent) and their families plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband John Cleal; grandson Tery Mayo and nephew Todd Harfitt brothers-in-law Gordon, Joe and Albert .
Family will be accepting visitors Thursday, Feb. 21st from 5-9PM and Friday, Feb. 22nd from 10AM to 9PM from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
Funeral Service will take place from Calvary United Church, Creston South Saturday, February 23rd at 2PM with interment following at United Cemetery, Creston South.
Donations in her memory may be made to Marystown Minor Hockey Program or etransfer to todd.b@persona.ca,, in keeping with Marie's wishes, to help under priliviged kids to purchase hockey equipment, or flowers gratefully accepted.
