Obituary of Amelia (Minnie) Keating
It is with great sadness that the family of Amelia (Minnie) Keating of Salt Pond announce her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on May 15th, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn children Wayne (Judy) of Ontario, Gus Jr. of Calgary, AB, Barry (Theresa) of Terra Nova; Yvonne Hiscock (Fraser) of Salt Pond; Brian (Geraldine) of Marystown; Randy (Glenda) of Salt Pond; Wanda Shave (Todd) of Salt Pond and Kim Ceaser (Allan) of Ontario; grandchildren Jordan, Shawn, Jeff, Justin, Matthew, Jeremy, Kelsea, Stephen, Kathy, Jacinda, Ashley, Stephanie, Cynthia, Darren, Trevor, Jamie, Kerri, Aaron, Jarod, Emma Jane, Kasey and Nathan; 16 great grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Augustus; son Jerry; daughters Rose and Sandy; grandson Christopher; brothers and sisters plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 1-9PM.
Funeral Mass to take place from St. Patrick's RC Church on Saturday, May 18th at 10AM with interment following at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Salt Pond.
