Obituary of Cecil Hubert White

It is with great sadness the family of Cecil Hubert White of Burin (formerly of Pool's Island ) announce his passing at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons Edgar (Brenda) of Burin and Peter (Hazel) of Burin; daughters Josie Pitcher of Burin, Susan Masters (David) and Florence Power (Reginald) of Burin; grandchildren June, Sheri Tonya, Natasha, Cory, Troy, Toby and Krista; great grandchildren Chantelle, Carson, Carter, Kaylee, Nicolette, David, Cecil, Austin, Craig, Ryder and Emma; great great grandchildren Blair, Brady, and Parker; brothers Salmen White of New-Wes-Valley, Norman White (Alfreda) of Grand Bank; sister Florence (Roland Hillier) of New-Wes-Valley; brother-in-law Jack Elliott (Stacey) plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by wife Ellen; parents Louie and Salmen White; granddaughter Lisa; and brothers and sisters. Resting at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin Sunday, March 8th from 7-9PM and Monday 10AM to 9PM. Funeral Service to take place from Serenity Chapel Tuesday, at 10:30AM with interment following at United Church, Collin's Cove. Donations in his memory made to Zion United Church.
