Christine, Kieth and Uncle Arnold. So sorry to hear of Aunt Valetta's passing. It's been a long while since our paths have crossed but I am reminded of her warm welcome and kindness during our visits to your home in Grand Beach. She was truly an enterprising person and a woman ahead of the times earning a livelihood providing services to her community. I can still smell those french fries that were free for the asking on our visits. We sincerely hope that with the passage of time your sadness will be replaced by the many fond memories you have of your time together.
Wayne Follett and family..

Arnold, Keith, Christine and all Valetta’s grandchildren:
Very sorry to hear of Valetta’s passing! As a child growing up in Grand Beach I remember how she always treated me well. Last time I saw her after many years was at the Blue Crest where Arnold was there by her side and always very kind to her. My deepest regrets to all of you.

So sorry to hear. Just want you to know I'm thinking of you all in this difficult time. So many memories growing up and the kind gestures Valetta showed me, from picking Keith and Me while we were stranded hitchhiking somewhere, to firing up the big deep fryer and making some restaurant fries at an awkward hour. She will always hold a special place with me.

Sincere love and condolences to Arnold, Christine, Keith, and families on Valetta's passing.
Valetta enjoyed a good dance and a bit of fun, was well-known in her community, and loved to cook and bake. I remember the fresh-baked goodies from when I would visit with Mom and Dad.
My heart breaks for you, Christine, as Covid-19 restrictions keep you from being here at this time.
However, love has no boundaries; and there are plenty of virtual hugs from all of us to cover the distance.
Arnold, it was heartwarming to see you and Valetta at the Home holding hands like two young sweethearts. You were so good to her!
Cherish your memories and stay safe.
Love Ella
