“An angel lived among us, a gift from God above. She showered us with kindness and shared with us her love.”
In the past few days, there have been many conversations with my Uncle Frankie about my Aunt Nancy. What I remember most is him saying she was an angel and he loved her. My Aunt Nancy was easy to love with her warm hugs and beautiful smile. I was fortunate to spend many summer holidays in Creston and Aunt Nancy was often my companion. We shared many adventures together, but the thing I remember most was her reading to me each night. She made the words come alive and helped to develop my passion for reading later in life for which I will be forever grateful..
As we grew older, we both married. Nancy married the love of her life Frankie and he married his angel. They were a perfect match and were devoted to each other. Each time my family and I visited we were greeted with smiles, hugs, and a welcome as warm as the sun. We shared meals together and we told stories of growing up. We took drives together and we will always fondly remember our last one to the Tolt in Marystown where Aunt Nancy and Uncle Frankie had a loving embrace and a kiss.
Nancy was a woman of great faith. She was active in the Salvation Army in Creston and Burin and enjoyed going to Home League for many years. She constantly prayed for family and friends. Nancy’s life was filled with goodness and kindness toward others. At the end of our many phone calls and visits over the years, Aunt Nancy would always say “I love you!”
Tom and I extend our very deepest sympathy to Uncle Frankie and all the family and friends who cherished Nancy. She was a beautiful gift to all of us. Uncle Frankie was so right to say she was an angel and that she was loved. She will be loved and missed by all who were fortunate to know and spend time with her. We are so thankful for her journey through our lives. She will always be in our hearts.
Love Linda, Tom, and family

Sincere condolences to husband Frankie, brother Walt, sister Marg, and all the extended family on Nancy's passing. We were very sad to hear the news. Nancy was a sweet lady. She used to always send Christmas gifts to us, and our kids loved her knit slippers. We loved seeing her and Frankie and have lovely memories. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing. We will keep her always in our hearts and will speak her name.

We were very saddened to hear of Nancy’s passing. She was a lovely lady whom we had the pleasure of knowing over the years ..always had a pleasant smile and word for us when we visited the Retirement Home with our music ...she would love to sit in the front row with Frank and as soon as the music was over she was up to thank us with a big smile and hug.
Rest In Peace Nancy.
Our deepest condolences to you Frank and all the family. God bless.
