Obituary of Austin Pearson

It is with great sadness that the family of Austin Pearson of Rushoon, announce his passing at his residence in Rushoon at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn wife of 47 years Joan Pearson (Dicks) of Rushoon, son Jason of St. John's; daughters Stephanie Pearson (Tony Jones) of Rushoon, Lindsey Pearson of Rushoon; 2 grandchildren Riley and Rachel who were his pride and joy's; sisters Rosita Best (Paddy), Theresa Whiffen (James); brothers Aubrey (Maureen), Gerald (Trudy), Freddy (Rhonda), Michael; sister-in-law Anne Flynn plus a large circle of other family and friends. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday, April 15, 2021 at 2pm. Predeceased by parents Alfred & Bertha Pearson, sister Theresa, brother Peter Flynn. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Donations in his memory may be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation. The family of Austin Pearson would like to thank the wonderful staff at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and wonderful care you gave our beloved dad. The love and support shown to us will forever be remembered.
