John was a very quiet man and when he did speak he was very soft spoken. His greatest love was berry picking if you wanted to get him talking you only had to mention a good spot of berries and that was all he needed to get the conversation going. He loved all animals and anything to do with boating he enjoyed. He was a great father, grandfather and great grandfather. His grandkids were his delight he loved them dearly. He will be missed by his family and will cherish their memories forever.
