She was born in the little town of Francois but to her it was always Fransway. She loved to talk about her younger days especially her two older sisters Lydia and Ruby. The story most remembered by us all was the one about her Tam how Ruby hated it and she loved it and Ruby threw it away. She loved Ruby but never ever forgot that. When they got older to us all they were the 2 Ronnie's we never knew what trouble they would get into. From getting lost or falling down and then couldn't get back up because they were laughing too much. They went to Montreal together when their sister Susie was dying, got lost and fell down twice. One trying to help the other up and fell again. They went back to Susie's and told her what happened and she was near death and not feeling well but she managed to laugh until she cried. They could make anyone laugh. Susie and Lydia will have their hands full when they arrive. But there will be lots of laughter of that we are sure. They loved their garage sale days, we all tried to not tell them about them but they found them anyway. You never knew what they were going to come home with but to them they had stuff that was worth a lot of money. The 2 Ronnie's even got into buying scratch tickets and they would spent 50.00 and then win 50.00 and they would be so happy. You couldn't tell them they just broke even. Their sense of humor never faded it was something they loved to do when they got together.
Bessie married Jack in Halifax in a round church that was always a big joke for us all she couldn't corner him. They were married for 63 years. She was a wonderful mother to her children and was so proud of her grandchildren and even more of her great grandchildren. She was the special Aunt to many and could be counted on to either cook them a good dessert or be the great listener she always was. She will be missed by so many and always in our hearts. Her laughter will stay with us and the stories we can all tell. This is not goodbye but until we meet again. The 2 Ronnie's are together again. Look out Heaven they will cause trouble.
