After raising her 11 children she spent and enjoyed many years of baking, cooking, and of course caring for her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone who was blessed to know Ida throughout her life knew how hard she worked for her family and her passion of cooking for all of them. She had amazing cooking skills which she passed onto most of her children and was enjoyed by anyone who came through her doors. She was always going door to door with something for anyone that was in need and making sure anyone around was well fed. She was firm, stubborn, and stood her ground with anyone else when necessary. She would say what she was thinking and didn’t care what people thought. But you could always depend on her to tell you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not, Ida’s faith was very strong, praying for everyone throughout her life, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.
