Obituary of Eli Baxter Saunders

It is with great sadness the family of Baxter Saunders of Marystown  announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on January 11th, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lorraine of 48 years; children David (Rexene), Carol Ann (Jason), and Baxter (Patricia); grandchildren Shawna, Dwayne, Jordan, Leonard, and Jaden; Brothers Cyril (Greta), Sam (Martha), Winston,  Sisters Cynthia, Viola (Austin) ; sister-in-law Marie Corcoran (Edward) plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Predeceased : parents John and Mary; parents-in-law Beatrice and Oliver; Son Dwayne Brother Arthur(Brenda) sisters Marion and Jessie; sisters-in-law Helen, Ivy-Lorraine, Maude, Shirley and Iona and brothers-in-law Orville, Harold and Maxwell.

Private family viewing Thursday from 7-9PM.

Family will be accepting visitors on Friday, January 13th from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.

Funeral Service will take place from St. Michael's Anglican Church, on Saturday, January 14th at 2PM with interment following at Anglican Cemetery.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to his wife Lorraine.
