Obituary of Sarah (Sally) Fizzard

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Sarah (Sally) Fizzard of Terrenceville announces her passing.Sally passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on March 15, 2023 at the age of 76.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Carl (Mary) of Terrencville, Doug (Barb) of Terrenceville, Joanne (George) of Terrenceville, John (Ella)  of Medicine Hat, Alberta.Grandchildren Trent ( Mandi), Terri (John), Jory, Liam, Janine (Terry), Kaitlyn, Dylan; Great Grandchildren Summer, Destiny, Claire, Madelyn, Aaliyah, Arianna, Arabella, Avaiah, Jaxson; Siblings Marina Clements (Harry), Belinda Downey (William), May Douglas (Ralph), Wayne Downey(Ruby), Lloyd Downey (Rosalind), Sister in law Marilyn Downey and a large circle of family and friends.

Sally was Predeceased by husband Joseph, son Philip, grandsons Ashton O'Leary, Damian Lavhey;parents Philip and Minnie Downey;sisters Florence Downey, Jessie Hanrahan, Mary Price; brothers Freddie and Arthur Downey; son in law Wayne O'Leary; parents in-law John and Sarah Ann Fizzard; brother in laws John Pad Hanrahan and Donald Price.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

Family will be accepting Visitors at serenity funeral home in Burin on Sunday March 19, 2023 from 12pm-6pm.

Funeral Service to be held at Serenity Funeral Home chapel, Burin on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 11 am.

Inurnment to follow at RC Cementry Terrenceville, NL
