Eugene was born and raised in Petite Forte, he started fishing at a very young age. After that he started a career with Puddister Trading Co., then he started dating mom. They both came back to Petite Forte to live and where married on September 30th, 1977. He loved the water and it was his life, in August of 78 his daughter came along. Then 5 years later he got his bouncing baby boy. He raised them both with lots of love and no matter what we wanted we got. If mom said no we always went to dad and of course got our own way.
Dad had a lot of health issues but that didn’t stop him from enjoying life, he loved the woods as much as he loved fishing and then came the flower garden. He had a green thumb he always told everyone his flowers grew beautiful because he sang to them every evening.
His most precious gifts and what made him the happiest was when his two grandsons came into the world. They were the sparkle of his eye and his biggest worry.
He had a love for everyone and loved to tell stories, sometimes they weren’t true. His family was his biggest worry and he loved his fur grandsons, Skipper had to be seen every night through facetime before bed. That shocked a lot of people when he got so attached to them. Our hearts will never mend but knowing your at peace will help us through.
Love you forever, until we meet again.
