Obituary of Anne Margaret Clarke

It is with great sadness that family of Anne Clarke of Marystown Retirement Centre, formerly of Frenchman’s Cove, announce her passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Wednesday April 10, 2024  at the age of 96 years.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of memories, daughters, Debbie Normandin of Garnish, NL, Vicki Lynn Grandy of Garnish, NL, Rev. Robynn Toal of Frenchman’s Cove, NL; sons, David (Lynn) Clarke of Sarnia, ON, Gregory (Lauren) Clarke of  Petrolia, ON, Brian Clarke of Garnish; granddaughter,  Lenette (Dan) Gauthier; grandsons, Darrell Clarke, Andre (Chanasie) Grandy, Cory Clarke, Johnny (Tracy) Wilkinson, Nikolas (Katie) Clarke; great grandchildren, Vann, Emma , Anjolie, Oliver; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends

Predeceased by husband, Abel Clarke; parents, Jacob and Susan Tibbo; daughter Bonnie Susan Chadwick; Infant grandchild Bonnie Ernestine Grandy; brothers, Wilbert Tibbo, Samuel Tibbo, Herbert Tibbo, Harold Tibbo, and Merrill Tibbo; sister, Phyllis Lawrence; brother-in-law, Pete Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Gertie Tibbo, Ruby Tibbo, Bernice Tibbo, Doris Tibbo, Gladys Tibbo; parents-in-law John and Susan Clarke; son-in-laws, Leonard Normandin, Freeman Grandy, Terry Chadwick, and Eddy Toal; plus deceased nieces and nephews.

Visitation to be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Frenchman’s cove on Saturday, April 13, 2024 and Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.

Funeral service will be at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Frenchman’s cove on Monday April 15, 2024 at 11AM in keeping with Anne’s wishes cremation to follow.

Donations in her memory may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church or Frenchman’s Cove United Church.
