Obituary of Margaret Ellen Pardy

Passed peacefully away at the Blue Crest Long Term Care in the presence of her two loving daughters, on July 22, 2024, Margaret Ellen Pardy of Harbour Mille in her 90th year.

She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories her two loving daughters Yvonne Dominaux (Jorden) of Bay L’’argent, Barbara Hynes (Guy) of St. Bernard’s as well as five grandchildren; Colin Dominaux (Tanya) of Bay L’argent, Sonia Hackett (Felix) of Torbay, Guyla Osbourne (Gary) of St. Bernards, Dwane Dominaux (Natasha) of Bay L’Argent, Maggie Dominaux (Craig Hynes) of Bay L’argent. Also leaving to mourn are her eight great grandchildren; Ashley Sheppard (Jonny), Riley Dominaux (Sarah), Peyton and Parker Hackett, Lily Dominaux, Mason Fudge, Ryder Dominaux and Hunter Osborne and step great granddaughter Chloe Osbourne, along with one great great grandchild Connor Sheppard, brother in laws Cecil Barnes and Thomas Pardy and her very special niece Pauline Abbott Baker and many nieces and nephews on the Abbott and Pardy side.

She was pre deceased by her husband Merrill Pardy, baby daughter Wanda Pauline, parents James and Violet Abbott, parents in law Thomas and Mary Ellen Pardy,sister Frances Barnes, brother and sister in law Albert and Sarah Abbott and many in laws on the Pardy side.

The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of the Marystown Retirement Centre for their kindness to Margaret while she was a resident there for the past 4 years and 8 months and also to the staff at the Blue Crest long term care for their never ending care and kindness to both our mom and ourself over the last four weeks. Your care, compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.

Visitation is being held on Wednesday July 24, 2024 from 1-6PM from Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.

Funeral services will take place at Serenity Chapel, Burin on Thursday July 25, 2024  at 2:30pm with interment following at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Mille..
