Obituary of Elizabeth Harding

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth Harding who passed away at Burin Health Care Center on  Thursday August 8, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

Elizabeth is survived by her sons Elvis (Juanita) Red Deer AB, Rick Red Deer AB, daughter Darlene (Brian) Epworth, grandchildren Chantal (Brandon), Brandon, 2 great grandchildren Eleanor &Theresa, siblings Stella, William (Angela), Ernest ( Cathy) Collier, brother-in-law Melvin (Gail), good friends June Lundrigan, Lexie Darby, Angela Brewer and a special thanks to caregiver Lori and a large circle of other family and friends.

Elizabeth is predeceased by parents John & Rosella, husband Issac, son Darryl, brother Frank, sister Jessie, sister-in-law Kay. 

Elizabeth (Betty) Harding was a kind hearted, spit-fire of a woman with an unmatched sense of humour. She loved a game of darts and never missed a Wednesday night TV bingo. She cared for her friends dearly and had some extremely special people in her life. She was a loving wife, mother and sister although, her favorite title was grandmother. She cherished her grandchildren, Chantal and Brandon, and her great-granddaughters Eleanor Elizabeth and Theresa Rose. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes cremation has taken place. 

Family will be receiving friends at Serenity Funeral Home Burin on Sunday August 11, 2024 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM.

Funeral service will take place from Serenity Chapel, Burin on Monday August 12, 2024 2PM with inurnment following at United cemetery Epworth.
