It is with great sadness the family of Freeman Inkpen of Burin, NL announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Tuesday August 27, 2024 at the age of 92 years.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are daughters Della Brocklehurst (Glenn) of Mount Pearl, Lynn Antle (Eugene) of Mortier; grandchildren Erin (Yaqub), Brandon (Kia), Sean and Katie (Bailey); great grandson Finley; sisters-in-law Dorothy Inkpen, Gwenda Hollett (Junior); brother-in-law Gary Leamon and a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by wife Jean, parents Frank & Annie Inkpen, parents-in-law Malcolm & Caroline Manning, brother’s Gerald & Bruce, sister Joan, sister-in-law Shirley Macdougall.
In keeping with Freeman wishes cremation has taken place.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to the staff of St. Lawrence Retirememt Living who treated dad like family. He genuinely loved each and every one of them.

Family will be accepting visitors Friday August 30, 2024 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
A Celebration of life service will take from Serenity Chapel, Burin on Saturday August 31, 2024 2PM with Inurnment following at Burin Heritage cemetery.
