Obituary of Arnold Inkpen
In loving memory of Arnold Inkpen, The Blueberry Man, 1934-2024.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Arnold Inkpen at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on September 20, 2024 at the age of 90 years.
He leaves to mourn his daughter Christine (Colin); son Keith; grandchildren Renee (Chris), David, Curtis, Kristal, and Robert (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Aiden, Sebastian, Taylor, and Peter; brothers Bill (Dot), Fraser (Elaine); sisters Susan (Alvin), Ella (Kevin); sisters-in-law Sharon, Mary, Linda; and a large circle of nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by wife Valetta; parents Leonard and Reta Inkpen; parents-in-law, William and Agnes Follett; brothers Russell, Earl, and Roy; sisters-in-law Ann, Blanche, Jessie (Baker), Irene (Lionel); brothers-in-law, Jerry, William, Garfield (Mary), Clarence (Mary) and Harold.
"A golden heart stopped beating, Hard-working hands at rest. It broke our hearts to see you go, God only takes the best. They say that memories are golden, Well maybe that is true, But we never wanted memories, We only wanted you."

In keeping with Arnold's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
